Running cpu and gpu tasks, or even gpu only, my (MacBook Pro) M2 Pro cpu cores were getting fried, with settings that only allowed 100% of at most two of 10 cores. Tracking with TG Pro, temperatures were spiking well over 100C across the board, and the gpu was getting pretty toasty, too. I had no interest in stressing my system to that degree 24/7 to hunt for prime numbers. I shut it down and removed the project. With the same compute preferences settings, Einstein@Home and WCG tasks usually keep cpu temps <~ 90C, fans are off or just idling.
