However, recently most web servers are set to generate warning errors when SSL is not employed. Therefore prudent webmasters opt for the SSL Certificate which appears to BOINC to be a URL change. In most cases, HTTPS is what you want, but repetitive notices are annoying and should be fixed in the APP.
