Thank you Ja, I have fixed this problem in the way you described. Step by step what I did to implement your suggestion was:

1) Log into my Science United Account
2) On my home page, I clicked the "View" button for "Science Projects"
3) I chose GPUgrid.net from the list (because this was the project giving me the 'old URL' error). This opens up a page about my settings for GPUgrid.net
4) I clicked the "Exclude" button on the GPUgrid.net page (so as to exclude GPUgrid.net from my Science United projects)
5) In BOINC I ran 'synchronise with Science United' from the tools menu, so as to update BOINC and let it know GPUgrid.net was excluded
6) Back on the Science United web page of GPUgrid.net settings (where I was in step 4) I then clicked the button to Include GPUgrid.net again
7) In BOINC I ran 'synchronise with Science United' from the tools menu again, so as to update BOINC and let it know GPUgrid.net was included again - BOINC now shows In BOINC I ran 'synchronise with Science United' from the tools menu, so as to update BOINC and let it know GPUgrid.net was excluded as having the new "https:" URL

Got the same from https://www.gpugrid.net/

Notices says:
GPUGRID: Notice from BOINC
This project is using an old URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add https://www.gpugrid.net/

When I check properties for gpugrid I see that I am indeed connected to http://www.gpugrid.net (that is to http, which should be https)

But on the 'Pojects' tab of BOINC, the @remove'tab is greyed out so I cannot remove and re-instate gpugrid as requested.

Does Science United need to do that change for me?
