Suddenly I find that BOINC will not run on my most productive computer -- happened suddenly with no known changes to the computer. I've removed and re-installed twice just in case. Download was boinc_8.2.4_windows_x86_64. When run the client gets as far as "Connecting to localhost" which lasts for a long time until it reports three failures to start and asks if I want to keep trying.

Any ideas? Seems a waste to have my fastest computer not crunching.
