Howdy.

I have a small form factor Star Trek Borg Cube PC that has Windows 10 on it, and I only use that PC for a comic book database program for my comic book collection. I use Linux Mint on my main PC and haven't figured out how to use WINE to run the comic book database program yet, so that is the only thing I use on that Borg PC.

Anywho, I figured I'd set up and run BOINC on it so it's getting some use, but even with throttling the processing, it still overheated and toasted the motherboard.

I was able to find a new motherboard for $50 and swapped out the toasted one for the new one and all is well again, but I'm not going to risk toasting this new mobo because the case is just too enclosed for sufficient air-flow to keep things cool.

I'm wondering if I'm able to move the BOINC data that is still on that Borg Cube PC over to my Linux machine where I'm also running BOINC, so it can finish off the processing of data work that wasn't finished on the Borg Cube PC before it got toasted?

Can I do a simple copy & paste of the BOINC folder contents over to my Linux folder equivalent and BOINC on the Linux machine will recognize it and finish it?

Thanks in advance for your input.[/url]
