I apologize if there is a way to do this - but if so, I can't find it. Is there a way to configure my computers to, for example, only work on projects between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM Monday-Friday, but to work 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday? Thank you! |

Hi, sure, there is a way for doing so. First, you open the Boinc Manager make sure, it's connected to the boinc instance. If you're running the default config, it should already be connected. Then click on "options" in the menu bar and then on computing preferences. there you choose the tab "Daily schedule". There is everything you need to set your computing schedule. There you can check the box saying "Compute only between ____ and ____" And fill the blanks with your preffered time in the 24 hour format. For The days, that you want other scheduling for, you can simply activate the box with the day and enter the time again in the 24 hour format. Hope this helps! ~ Marcel Providing computational ressources located in Germany. contact me: boinc@marcelstiller.com |

Thanks for the reply! All of my machines are running with no GUI, and I'm using Science United to manage them. I have set time so that it only works on BOINC from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM - but I can't see any way to configure it to do that only Monday-Friday and to work all day (and all night) on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks again. |
