I cannot log into BOINC Manager even though I have an account and have logged into the web page. I have Windows 10 64 Bit BOINC version 7.10.2 After I did the following: 1. Opened BOINCMGR and selected Tools then Use Account Manager 2. Selected Science United from drop down 3. Entered required/requested information and clicked FINISH I got the error "no account found" even though I am logged into the web page at https://scienceunited.org/ The log is as follows: 14/06/2018 1:26:20 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 1:26:42 PM | | Contacting account manager at https://scienceunited.org/ 14/06/2018 1:26:47 PM | https://scienceunited.org/ | Message from account manager: no account found 14/06/2018 1:27:01 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 1:30:45 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 1:30:57 PM | | Contacting account manager at https://scienceunited.org/ 14/06/2018 1:31:03 PM | https://scienceunited.org/ | Message from account manager: no account found EDIT: I logged off the web page and stopped BOINC and tried again and BOINC tried to synchronize with Science United and after asking for user id and password it still could not find an account. 14/06/2018 1:59:10 PM | | (to change preferences, visit a project web site or select Preferences in the Manager) 14/06/2018 2:00:07 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 2:00:07 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 2:00:08 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 2:00:08 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 2:00:09 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 2:00:09 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 2:00:10 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 2:00:10 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 2:00:22 PM | | Contacting account manager at https://scienceunited.org/ 14/06/2018 2:00:28 PM | https://scienceunited.org/ | Message from account manager: no account found 14/06/2018 2:01:25 PM | | Fetching configuration file from https://scienceunited.org/get_project_config.php 14/06/2018 2:01:36 PM | | Contacting account manager at https://scienceunited.org/ 14/06/2018 2:01:42 PM | https://scienceunited.org/ | Message from account manager: no account found 14/06/2018 2:04:47 PM | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site 14/06/2018 2:04:52 PM | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down. Same issue, "AM reply parse error" when attempting to connect the account manager to the boinc-client. Using Ubuntu Server 18.04.2 LTS and boinc-client package version 7.14.2. Any solution for this? |
