Since running BOINC is directly fighting my air conditioning in two months of straight heat wave, I'm running BOINC on my laptop at Panera Bread while I'm studying. Does anyone else take advantage of a business or public outlet to donate to science?

My institution is kind enough to host the computers that are dedicated to BOINC. I have over 150 computers spread across the organization to distribute heat and power needs.

Sort of, running BOINC on my base M4 Mac Mini doesn't use enough power to affect room temperature. And for my desktop Windows PC, I use it instead of electric heating, and during summer, I just have the Window open and a table fan running.

But I still live at home, so my parents are paying for the extra power, they just think I'm gaming on my PC like my kid brother :)
