My setting is continuous running on a macbook pro, More jobs are failing than completing. Unless there is some handholding out there, my contribution continues to decline. Thank you if anyone can help me run boinc to complete jobs.

I see the same, mostly from Einstein@Home. I haven't tried to see what's wrong, but I seem to have about a 20% failure rate (~4600 succeeded, ~1300 failed as of now).

I saw the same on my Windows 10 Intel I9 based machine, and am seeing the same on my newer Windows 11 i9 based machine, so I think it's a problem with the Einstein software.

Are you using a old graphics card?
Though I don't know what happened, but I was have a computer which is able to enable GPU computing but it always end with failure because the gpu has no support for double precision float point computing. Maybe you can try to disable your graphics card (if possible) and see what happened.
I would think this make sense is because gpu computing usaully faster then cpu computing unless you are using an very old card with new high end cpu......

I have a laptop with no graphic card but an Intel i5 with graphic capabilities. It runs einstein GPU tasks of the LATEAH type slowly but with no error
