Running boinc from Arch on my server, after a few mins it locks up the computer completely.
Using a Radeon APU:

Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
Kernel Version: 6.1.6-arch1-3 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor
Memory: 30.5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics
Manufacturer: ASUS

How do I know its BOINC you ask? Well my server runs for eons without issue. Turn on BOINC and within 3 mins its locked up - even with my settings at 50%cpu 50%usage

Runs perfectly fine on my Apple M1 mac mini

Doing some testing, it appears its an issue with BOINC and the GPU work. I disabled SDDM display manager and KDE Plasma to try to run BOINC headless. It works without any crashing, but as soon as I run a GUI (Plasma or i3-wm) it locks the whole machine up as soon as it starts GPU work.
