I participate in a number of projects through Science United...over 11,000 hours total. Unfortunately, my contributions to World Community Grid (8,000+ hours) are not included in the "certificate" that you can print from the website (https://scienceunited.org/su_cert.php). Is that expected?

Hello, I also have problems with the hours that are not shown on the certificate. In my case, it happens with several projects, and the worst thing is that the system "delete" some accumulated hours from time to time. I haven't been able to find a solution or explanation for this, but it is very annoying.

Yes, I also noticed this problem (according to my observations it happens when boinc deletes and starts the project)
until it is fixed, detailed information about the hours of operation can be found at this link https://scienceunited.org/su_user_projects.php
or in "Science Projects" at https://scienceunited.org/su_home.php
and you can also see the calculations by day at https://scienceunited.org/su_user_accounting.php

I also have same problem comparing what is reported into the Certificate with values reported in Projects list.
Numbers in the Certificates, despite cumulatives per cathegory, are far smaller than reality, even compared to those related to a single Project.
For instance, in my Certificate, full "Astronomy" is reported for just 1,897.18 CPU Hours of contribution, while Einstein@home, it alone, shows more than 6,000 hours.
Similar discrepancies for all the entries in my certificate.
I hope somebody will take care to adjust these statistics.

Since my last post I started to keep watching the Certificate getting screenshots of it.
Well, today I discovered that numbers are again lower than before. Specifically lower than 15 days ago:

May 10th 2023:
Biology and Medicine: 236.20 CPU Hours
Astronomy: 2,112.44 CPU Hours

May 25th 2023:
Biology and Medicine: 55.92 CPU Hours
Astronomy: 1,795.41 CPU Hours

My computers are still running on projects actively, without downtimes or lack of tasks.
What is going on with those statistics?
Is anybody taking care of them?
Is anybody watching these forums?
Is anybody managing Science United?

And finally: are then my computers really contributing to something or it is just wast of time (CPU time)?

Thanks.

I to am having the same problem as others - there is no point in having a nice certificate which doesn't reflect the reality of effort put in

I'm having the same problem.
PrimeGrid is completely missing from the certificate, but it is present in the table. For me it is the project with the most hours. Universe@home is partially missing.
Hopefully the issue will be resolved soon.

I think that I fixed the problem of wrong certificate numbers.

SU keeps track of usage (CPU time, GPU time, # jobs)
both for each (user, project) pair and each (host, project) pair.
In theory the numbers for a user's hosts should add up to the numbers for the user.
But (because of a bug I have yet to find) they're lower.

The numbers on the certificate were based on the (host, project) records.
I changed it to use the (user, project) records
(not sure why I didn't do it this was to begin with).

I'll try to figure out the data discrepancy.

Now the totals in the table match the values in the certificate.
Thank you for the quick solution. :-)
