Can anyone tell me how we coordinate our computing power to work on the same project, scheduled preferred.

Science United is aimed at setting it and forgetting it. For the level of control you desire you'd have to run straight BOINC, possibly with using BAM! (from BOINCstats). It's still the same projects, but you'll have to select them yourself.
