Is there any update on using the integrated graphics on the apple M1?
I only get tasks run by my CPU. Secondly, I have an iPad and an iPhone I'd like to use. Any potential for an iOS BOINC client?
Thanks

I have The same Problem With my m2. No gpu Core is used. And ist would be gerat if the neural Engine could also be used. There are s lot of Performance Cores sleeping. Start using the power we have in Our Apple Silicons

I just tried running PrimeGrid, which has several sub-projects that run on either Apple Silicon cpu or gpu.

Running cpu and gpu tasks, or even gpu only, my (MacBook Pro) M2 Pro cpu cores were getting fried, with settings that only allowed 100% of at most two of 10 cores.

Tracking with TG Pro, temperatures were spiking well over 100C across the board, and the gpu was getting pretty toasty, too.

I had no interest in stressing my system to that degree 24/7 to hunt for prime numbers.

I shut it down and removed the project.

With the same compute preferences settings, Einstein@Home and WCG tasks usually keep cpu temps <~ 90C, fans are off or just idling.
