GPU computing on AMD v1605b SoC?

I installed Pop_OS 21.04 and BOINC from package repository and was hoping it would do GPU computing since it does have Radeon Vega 8 graphics and does support OpenCL per AMDs website, but GPU computing is not showing up as available. Update: I found AMD drivers for the v1000 series but found they are only for Ubuntu 20.04. So I installed that then the driver.
