Hello! Why doesn't boinc use my GPU?
I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB.
Happy Science!

Under the "Activity" tab make sure the GPU usage is enabled or enabled using computer preferences.

you should have a look in the Message log if your GPU is detected at startup (i.e. scroll to top). If not, probably there is a configuration problem. In Linux you might be missing opencl drivers. In Windows, BOINC might be running as Service, which prevents GPU usage (it seems, at least Install says something like that).

it will not use your gpu when you're using your computer. but you can set it at manager.

sometimes there are simply no GPU tasks available to be completed. Keep an eye out for this state.
