Hi, new SU user here. I switched from a 'traditional' BOINC setup where I picked the projects I wanted and managed it myself. Start of this month I saw Science United and thought it sounds like a better idea and I can have someone else decide which projects I join and contribute to (based on my wider preferences), sign up and forget basically.

Well, I am around 2 weeks in now and I have only done WCG units, I haven't even been 'registered' to any other projects even though I have *everything* allowed and preferred equally - the default settings.

Do I have an issue with my account or is this normal at the moment? If normal I am going to go back to the old way as I actually have much less project diversity now than before!

Have tried syncing with SU a few times, just now I did get RNA world added but after it's first sync it decided to remove itself when tasks are done?!

Any help/advice would be greatly received. :)

From what I noticed SU may not sent one user work from a lot of different projects. But instead assign users to different projects.
In an overall summary users can save disk space (no need to keep many project initialization files) and the compute is distributed between projects.
