Hi everyone

On the SU homepage I get this message but the latest version of BOINC is installed and is running on projects.
"⚠ It looks like BOINC isn't running on your computer. Try re-installing it. If you need help, go here."

I did click on the go here link but it didn't say anything regarding this that I could find. Is this normal or is there a problem?

Thank you!

I used to get this message on a Linux laptop which was runing BOINC 7.8.3, downloaded from my SuSE Distribution. But Science United said that that was an old version, and refused to accept that computer. That on a Leap 15.0 SuSE Standard Distribution. But it accepted a BOINC downloaded from a Tumbleweed development distribution, also from SuSE which must be newer.

i have this same issue on a machine that is running the latest code, has been for years, and is running at least 3 of the projects that are listed. It just can't seem to see that I am running Boinc and that I've been returning results for years. Anyone got any other ideas on what could be wrong on this? The laptop I am using is a Windows 10 machine with 64bit Boinc client.

I figured this one out not long after posting this. It appears that in order to contribute, you need to setup Science United as the "Account Manager" under "Tools -> Add Account Manager". Then it started working finally
