Is there a reason that, after I attatch the account manager, nothing happens? No projects are attatched, no fields are created, and my boinc client is still blank. |

Ok you guys still need to attach the projects that you want to do. I know it seems silly but that's what I had to do to get it to work.. |

Then what is the point of this Science United if you still need to create an account with each project? |

I have the same issue. I was previously using BOINCstats as account manager so I disconnected and removed all previously attached projects. I then connected the BOINC client to Science United and waited. At this point it has been over 12 hours and the client does not show any projects and has not downloaded any work units. In my SU account, I have all science areas selected so I am not sure what the delay or issue is. |

Only works with these intructions as far as I can tell If you're already running BOINC on a computer, you can use Science United as follows: Create a Science United account. Upgrade the computer to BOINC version 7.10 or later (preferably the current version). Go to the BOINC Manager. If you're using the Simple View, go to the View menu and select "Advanced view". In the Tools menu, select "Use account manager". Select Science United. Enter the email address and password of your Science United account. That's it. Consider detaching from the projects you were previously running. |

I can say that I'm getting work with Science United. Maybe a few ideas. On the Science and location preferences page, are the radio buttons set to Prefer or As needed for "Science areas" and Locations"? https://scienceunited.org/su_prefs.php On the Science projects page, has the "Account status" been established for the listed projects and are they "Allowed by prefs?" Clicking on the project name allows you to choose to include or exclude. https://scienceunited.org/su_user_projects.php |

Is there a simple explanation of how to resolve the "[error] No signing key from account manager" problem? My machines are Linux, there isn't a 7.10.whatever or higher release that was suggested as a solution last year. Thanks for any ideas... |

Not sure if you've solved the "No signing key" issue, but if you look at the acct_mgr_reply.xml file in your BOINC data directory (think it was /var/lib/boinc-client for me on linux, C:\ProgramData\BOINC\ on Windows) it gives more detail. In my case, it was because SU requires BOINC 7.14 or later. |
