I have had an "Amicable Numbers" task running on my PC which has seemingly blocked other tasks from running. It is using only one CPU and the other 7 remain idle. Also the GPU usage is very low. This PC is dedicated to BOINC so I don't want to see it under-utilised.
I have aborted the Amicable Numbers tasks for now and will keep an eye on things. Has anyone else had problems with these tasks?

Hi
I have had the opposite problem. Amicable numbers had taken over. It was using 78% of CPU time on what appeared to be 3 CPUs. I have deleted the project and disconnected from Science United. as there were also 5 other projects trying to run even during the time when I was trying to get some work done. I ran SETI for many years without any problems. Science United needs to get it's act together.

Yes, I originally started on SETI and am now struggling to maintain enthusiasm. My BOINC machine is now idle - an LHC job is shown as "running" but progress remains at 0.000% so I think I will go back to choosing my own projects.
