Invallid Float error when switching to No Work on Batteries via Advanced View Peferences

Description

Loaded 5.10.4 over 5.10.3. On Advanced View, tried to uncheck the 'while computer is on battery' box. Received a 'Validation error Invalid Float' error. No entry written to message log. I can change the preferences through the simple view preferences successfully. Have same error if I change not to work on batteries while in Simple View then try to change back in Advanced View.

WinXP Pro Intel T2600 @ 2.16 GHx 2 GB physical; 4.85 GB virtual RAM

On further testing, same error when changing anything on Advanced View-->Preferences dialog, or when hitting "Ok" with no change in any of the three tabs.

On clean install, error is NOT present. May be residual in my local system.
