Description (last modified by Nicolas)

Closely related to #113

Boinc freezes (probably due to iffy network connection), causing user to abort climate models. Nicolas experienced the same thing - the Boinc manager froze solid, making it impossible to do anything with.

..And today BOINC froze totally. I restarted the PC, reinstalled BOINC in the same folder from a back-up, but it kept on freezing. At last I had to abort the two models and I uninstalled BOINC, deleted the old folders and reinstalled everything. When I downloaded BOINC again it was ver. 5.8.16, the one I uninstalled was 5.8.15. Any problems with that version?

The similar one was Trac/113 (not Trac/130)

I would consider it directly a duplicate of #130, but I'll wait for a second opinion from one of the devs.

Of course, anywhere here that says #130 should read #113 >_<
