I also seem to have the same problem with this version using the 64bit version of BOINC.
I also get different BSOD codes, I have tested my system with prime 95 and memtest and all pass without a fault, I have downgraded back to 6.6.31 where I haven't got this issue.
Motherboard: Asus Rampage Formula X48 CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.8GHz Ram: 8GB Corsair Domination 1066Mhz running at 800MHZ GPU: ATI HD3870 in crossfire with 2 cards OS: Vista ultimate x64 (Service Pack 2)

Sorry forgot to mention, With this version of BOINC 6.6.36, alot of my results go back with errors.

Mine don't go back with errors, the problem is the BSOD happens 3 or 4 times before the project finishes, but when it finishes it goes back without issue. I noticed the problem happened after I updated my video card driver. I think it might have something to do with CUDA (at least on my machine), but your I dont think so, does ATI support CUDA or is that nVidia only?

ATI Doesnt support CUDA.
Have you tried running a older verison of BOINC and see if that stops the BSOD?

Things to try: Disable any screensaver. Downgrade your video driver to the one that worked before. Disable AFD.SYS in Windows (risky).
I found someone with the same problem. For him, it was the audio drivers conflicting with his video card. Try using Windows-delivered (from Windows Update) audio drivers instead of the ones from EVGA. http://www.vistax64.com/vista-general/87842-stop-0x00000124.html

Doesn't appear to be a BOINC bug per se, merely exposed becuase of BOINC.
What project(s) are you attached to?
