Description
<host_venue> in the global_prefs_override file doesn't work as expected.
I'm not sure it works at all.
I removed it from the documentation a while ago, so I plan to remove the feature entirely in 6.0 - any objections?

I think it was just a testing feature originally.
It lets you hardwire the venue to one of the venues supplied through the normal global prefs - it doesn't let you specify multiple venue in the override.

David, is the <host_vanue> setting supposed to be working?
Maybe I am not getting it, but why would the global_prefs_override.xml file use any host venue? You're overriding the web site preferences for the computer that the file is on, so it shouldn't care much about what venue the computer is using.
That you have a setting for them in global_prefs.xml I can understand as that file is updated each time you change something on the web site, through the venue you set your preferences for. But the override preferences only happen through BOINC Manager's simple or advanced preferences and for that computer only, despite what venue it's on.
So as far as I go, you can remove the documentation.
