Bonic 5.10.30 will not connect to report or download new tasks

I am running Vista 64-bit with Bonic 5.10.30 The app. is having problems accessing the SETI@home servers to upload or download tasks. Below is a one of the messages that i receive:

Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
Access to reference site succeeded - project servers may be temporarily down.

Status: new → closed

Please report problems like this on the ​Seti Q&A forums first. It's very well possible it isn't a problem with BOINC, but one with your firewall and/or Operating System.

Trac isn't made for getting help on individual projects, it's for reporting bugs in BOINC itself. The above looks like a firewall problem to me, so I am putting this ticket to invalid for the time being.
