Posted by: Date: 7:22 AM 10-18-2005 Creating a random password for remote access is a good idea, but it makes setting up a remote connection difficult for the user as he is confronted with a password he has never set. Mentioning the gui_rpc_auth.cfg file is nice, but what about including a "Set a password for remote access" page at the installer?

Setup bugs are being punted to a future release. This work item should be completed with the new open source installer.

Definitely not in the standard installer - it's the opposite of the direction we need to go (simpler, always simpler).
Maybe it's an option for creating an administrative network image.
