Post preview empties thread title

Post preview leaves the thread title empty in the form (on submit, it recognizes the problem and asks for the title)
I think we already had this effect a few months ago, now it's back in the boinc/dev forum.
Just in case it's an issue that happens only with certain browsers : I am using SeaMonkey 1.1.5

I can narrow it down a bit so it can be reproduced.
The one who started a thread, edits his thread starter and wants to preview that edited version will loose his thread title.
It does not happen on the QMC@Home forum (forum code there has been updated lately) so it might be just a boinc/dev "feature"

On the boinc dev forums I find much worse things. Clicking preview replaces all newlines on the post with
(I was about to report it).
