Description
I find I have to manually review each BOINC machine weekly to abort any task that will not complete by or is beyond the deadline [BOINC manages my tasks, I do not curently edit switches or request additional work in cache]. I would ask a switch that would allow a user to choose to have the BOINC manager automatically abort an unstarted task if insufficient time remains or it is already beyond the deadline. Thank you for your hard work.

Those changes were done a while ago (if the project server supports it). What client version do you have?
BOINC manager 5.10.28 (on 6 WinXP machines) Running: -Spinhendge -Einstein@Home -SETI@Home -Rosetta@Home
I see it mostly with Spinhendge, Rosetta, & Einstein.

I have the same problem with the malariacontrol.net beta project. It does not automatically abort overdue projects.

This should now be fixed in the latest 6.6 clients
