I have just joined the WCG, downloaded the most recent BIONC Manager (Version 5.8.17) forApple computers, and am running the FightAids?@Home project on a MAC G5 dual processor (OSX 10.4.9).
The above error ("Do work after idle for" preference problem) exists on this machine.

As stated in the previous entry, this was fixed in 5.9.4 (on April 12. 2007 to be exact.) The report from "anonymous" says he is running 5.8.17. Please read the bug hnistory carefully before posting.

The problem (this is in 5.8.16) is that the preference dialog doesn't add <run_if_user_active>0</run_if_user_active> to the override file, so the idle time is ignored (unless the line existed previously in the override file, which is why alpha testers didn't spot this).
I don't see the original bug though - should I open a new bug for this?
