Description
I have the latest version of BOINC installed as a service on Windows Vista Business and changed the service settings to use the local system account so that I would be able to view the graphics. With the service running under the Local system account every time the graphics would display an unteractive services dialog detection. Is there anyway to run Boinc as a service and still enable the graphics and screensaver?
Thanks,
Alex

This should now be fixed in the 6.0 generation of clients, keep an eye out for it when it is released.

Replying to romw:
keep an eye out for it when it is released.
And don't get the 6.1.x versions, those are unstable internal testing versions (I have seen people getting them and then complaining about lost work). Wait for the official release announcement.
Making screensaver graphics work on a service installation on Windows Vista needs almost complete redesign of everything graphic-related on BOINC. The good news is that this redesign is already being done. See the roadmap for BOINC 6.0 for more information.
