Description
Posted by: Date: 2:31 PM 05-06-2005 The processor cache humbers listed, especially for those processors with L2 cache of 2M or more seem to be carried as lower values.
Most systems with 1M cache seem to have 976.56 KB instead of 1M.
There may be additional difficulties ahead when the cache in the processor gains an additional level and we have L1, L2, and L3 cache.
Furthur note, the L2 and/or L3 cache may be shared between multiple (usually 2) virtual or physical processors.

Replying to davea:
BOINC doesn't measure or use cache sizes
If it will once in the far future, maybe the GetLogicalProcessorInformation() function will help Windows-side.
