BOINC manager crashes while attaching to project under Greek windows OS

Tested under winXPsp3 and win7, both under Greek locale, meaning BOINC manager starts with Greek interface. Has been happening for a couple of months on a few fresh installations I tried, so I don't think it's latest version specific.

Upon trying to add a project, BOINC manager freezes just after communicating with the project, prior to displaying the project username/passwork to attach. BOINC manager crashes after a few seconds. Switching BOINC manager language to English works fine. BOINC client is not affected, nor running project clients.
