First reported here, and a second report in the same thread, here.

There seem to be large gaps with missing messages in the message window/tab of the GUI but all messages appear in stdoutdae.txt.

Reported as happening on both 5.10.7 and 5.10.8.

Problem with the heartbeat mechanism: if the client does something that blocks for > 30 secs (e.g. a synchronous DNS lookup, a disk-space scan, a debugger break) then all apps quit, producing confusing messages and possibly wasting CPU time.

Proposed solution: remove heartbeat mechanism. Include client process ID in the app_init_data file. The API periodically sees if that process is still alive, and exits if not.

Hi,

Boinc download/upload failed with WCG project when using corporate http proxy. Some files are correctly download for WCG project, for Seti or Rosetta, all is working. At the end of working, impossible to upload results

Someone have a solution ??
