I usually run BOINC during the week as a way to keep my office a little warmer. Typically I stop accepting new tasks ("No new tasks" button) on projects mid day Thursday to let things finish up Friday so I'm not letting things expire over the weekend or hoarding tasks that won't be worked on. I've tried this since I started using Science United but something (I'm assuming Science United) updates my projects to accept work again and downloads tasks that I did not want and have to abandon. Is there a setting or button I'm not aware of that can accomplish this? I know there are computing preferences that let me set working times based on the day of the week but that would only stop me from computing during those times, not from downloading tasks.
