Since it appears no one from SU is really looking at the Community questions, I dug deeper (should have done that before asking), and found some interesting chat at https://scienceunited.org/forum_thread.php?id=7 where one user pointed to https://scienceunited.org/doc/ui_goals.pdf I must say "wow" when reading over the perspective of SU! The drift I get from reading SU's philosophy is that (a) they mostly want young people ("largely young: 20s and 30s"). No need for me to apply then. And (b) women are not competitive and/or turned off by it ("Second, the compulsive need to compete, and the implicit personal ranking based on competition, are turn-offs for many people, including I think most women.") So, both ageist, and sexist. If SU wants to pontificate about how they see most women and men being, instead of bring all people together for science, I'd say they should rebrand as anything other than "Science United." I am completely turned off. I'm going back to BOINC which has served quite well for decades now.

I have run BOINC for many, many years. Since around the time account managers were available, I started using BAM! to coordinate my projects. BAM Stats produces some fun results, that sort of make me feel good about what I'm contributing. Since I have built up quite a bit of time using that setup, I was curious if that is considered totally oblique to SU, i.e., is there any current or planned integration (using CPID, https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Cross-project_identification or some other magic)? Or, if you start with SU are you really starting over with a blank slate? I get that you want user info anonymous for a number of reasons, but isn't there anyway to keep such a history?

Best regards,
