I tried to enlist a laptop with SuSE Linux Leap 15.0, BOINC Manager 7.8.3. I kept getting messages that my BOINC Manager was too old. Then I enlisted a VIrtual Box SuSE Tumbleweed with BOINC 7.14.2 and it was accepted. Which is your BOINC?
